I’m Rob, as the owner I’m passionate about making George Moss the absolute best it can be for our customers. I want everyone who steps into our shop to experience what I call the “George Moss Infusion” – a special blend of exceptional service and warmth that creates a welcoming environment.
My focus is on building a team of outstanding staff who share my dedication to customer satisfaction. I work tirelessly to ensure that every customer’s needs are not just met but exceeded.
Understanding that jewellery shops can sometimes be intimidating, my goal is to create a welcoming space where people feel comfortable and valued, breaking down the barriers that often accompany the world of fine jewellery.
I’m Kelly, as the manager of George Moss, my main goal is simple: I want everyone who steps into our store to leave feeling happy and excited to share their experience. It’s not just about purchasing items; it’s about building real connections and making memories.
For me, running this store isn’t just a job—it’s an honour. I feel lucky to be trusted with making sure every visit is as special as it can be. I take immense pride in our store and everything it represents, and I am committed to upholding our reputation for excellence every step of the way.
I’m Zac, the Assistant Manager here at George Moss Jewellers. I’m one of the first faces you’ll see when you step in-store, always ready with a warm welcome.
Supporting Kelly in the day-to-day running of the store is a key part of my role. From maintaining the high standards of our shop floor to ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes, I’m here to make sure both our team and customers have the best experience possible.
I’ve recently completed a recognised jewellery certification course, allowing me to deepen my knowledge and better support our customers.
I’m Phoebe, the Repairs Manager. I’m passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, especially when it comes to repairs.
I take great care of your items, throughout the repair, I’ll keep you informed every step of the way, ensuring you feel confident that your belongings are in good hands.
But I’m not just focused on repairs. I have a love for all things jewellery remodelling. I’m here to listen to your needs and ensure that your experience with us is excellent but also personalised to you.
I am the newest member of our in-store team, and I am so excited to be on board.
I have a real passion for learning and an eye for fine details, so I’m eager to dive into the world of jewellery and watches.
I am especially looking forward to getting to know our customers, helping them find the perfect pieces, and learning from the experienced team around me.

I’m Stephanie, the cornerstone of our administration department. With my keen eye for detail and exceptional organizational skills, I oversee and manage all aspects of running our small business seamlessly.
While you might not see me on the shop floor, I serve as the first point of contact if you wish to reach us by phone.
Behind the scenes, I ensure that everything runs smoothly. I’m dedicated to making sure that stock is efficiently booked in and out, contributing to its timely arrival on the shop floor.
I’m Julie, the friendly face behind our stunning displays and window arrangements. I’ve been an essential part of the team since 2012.
While you might not see me on the shop floor as much these days due to my commitment to looking after my grandchildren, my expertise in the jewellery industry still shines through in every detail of my work.
My family-oriented nature adds a special touch to everything I do, making our shop a welcoming place for all. Even though my focus is on family, my love for jewellery and dedication to excellence remain unwavering, ensuring that our shop stands out on the local high street.
I’m Tom, your Registered Valuer. With two decades of expertise in the jewellery industry, my background spans manufacturing and retail, encompassing diamonds, precious metals, gemstones, antiques, and watches. For the past decade, I’ve served as a qualified Valuer, holding esteemed credentials such as being a Fellow of the Institute of Registered Valuers (FIRV) and an NAJ Registered Valuer (FNAJ), a membership I’ve held since 2011. Additionally, my commitment to excellence is evident through my status as a Fellow of Jewellery Valuers Association (FJVA) since 2020.
I’m Dave, as the Workshop Manager and Head Goldsmith at George Moss Jewellers, my extensive experience in the trade spans many years. Whether it’s a straightforward chain solder, ring resizing, or a comprehensive jewellery remodel, I take immense pleasure in collaborating with my team to breathe new life into all forms of jewellery. Each task that lands on my workbench is a distinctive and cherished project, given the inherent sentimental value each piece holds for our customers. With a deep sense of respect, I approach every item with care and affection it merits, treating it as if it were my own.
I’m Marcos, the head watchmaker here. From quartz to automatic and mechanical watches, I meticulously assemble, repair, and restore each piece, aiming for impeccable timekeeping and timeless elegance.
My passion lies not just in the technicalities of watchmaking, but also in the joy it brings to customers. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a satisfied smile when a cherished timepiece is returned, ticking perfectly once again.
Whether fine-tuning delicate gears or servicing quartz components, my work is driven by an unwavering pursuit of excellence.
Established in 1995 we are an independent family jewellers based in the heart of Uckfield. We are about exceptional customer service and excellence is at the forefront of everything we all do, and we are privileged to say that over the years our customers have become our friends.
Being independent gives us complete control over everything we do. Not only do we have a stunning showroom where every product and brand has been carefully chosen and sourced by us, we are also fortunate to be able to offer a diverse range of services in house as well as within our associated studios.
Having an investment in the studios allows us to have personal control of any project seeing it through every step of the way.
