Consultation
The first step of the process is to sit down with one of our experts and determine what it is that you are looking for, this can range from adjusting an existing design or starting from scratch. The ideas formed from this discussion will then be moved on to the next stage. It is best to have a good think about what it is you are wanting before your consultation and bring along any inspiration you may have found. Nothing is set in stone at this stage and everything can be changed.
Design
Depending on your bespoke piece, we will either start your design process with a hand-drawn sketch or CAD (Computer Aided Design) which brings your ideas from our discussion to life in a visual way for the first time. From here the design can be tweaked and changed to meet your requirements. Here the price, as well as the smaller details, will be confirmed. If requested, we can even 3D print your design so you can hold your bespoke piece and view every and any angle you wish. Once we have confirmed your final design these sketches/CAD drawings will be available for you to take home and share with your loved ones whilst we are busy creating your bespoke design.
Collection
Throughout the whole process, our experts will ensure you are kept informed and once your item has been created and hand finished at our bespoke studio, you will be invited in-store to collect your bespoke piece of jewellery – designed by you!
3D Printed Wax
When crafting particular pieces, we may suggest using a 3D wax print to ensure your perfect match is made, especially, as with the example below, when we are creating a bespoke ring to fit around another. This allows you to physically see and hold your piece as well as try it on, allowing you to make any final changes before it has been produced.
This can be done for the majority of bespoke creations on request and will be offered if we believe it would be beneficial to your creative process.
